Kateri Wang was born and raised in Oregon and taught a love for cultures and nature from birth. Summers were spent in the forest exploring or discovering a new culture from many of her library books. Kateri’s love of books is what led her first learning about pandas and adopting a label she opening admits to: bookworm. After studying literature at the university and traveling abroad stories started to pop up in Kateri’s mind. These stories were always about opening doors to cultures and nature to children. Kateri is a firm believer that children are our legacy and that their sponge like minds will soak up all the knowledge that is needed to help nature and humans live in harmony. This is something she encourages in her own home in Arizona with her family.
